• CheckthePICTUREMENUwithintheANALOGUE
TV/DTV SETUP.
• Checktomakesuretheprogramyouarewatchingis
broadcastinColourandnotBlack&White.
•If you are installing a new aerial, we recommend
a wideband rooftop aerial rather than a loft aerial.
Loft aerials generally receive a weaker digital signal
and are more likely to get interference from other
electricalequipment in the home.We suggest you
have an aerial survey done before getting an aerial
upgrade. Talk to your retailer or contact your local
aerial installer.
•Check the location of the antenna and adjust it if
necessary.
• Makesuretheantennacableisrmlyconnected.
• Makesureallinputcablesarermlyconnected.
•It happens sometimes, if you have a weak signal.
Usually it just means you’ll need to rescan your digi-
talboxorTV.Don’tworry,iteasytodo.Andonce
you’vedoneit,youshouldgetalltheFreeviewchan-
nels available to you. If problems persist you may
need to get your aerial checked. Talk to your retailer
or contact your local aerial installer.
•In most cases, blocking is caused by a reception
problem - either the signal is too weak or there is
some kind of interference. Talk to your retailer or

•Usetheremoteneartheunit.

• MakesuretheAVINinputconnectionsiscorrect.
• Theunitistoohot,shutofftheunitfor30minutesto
cool it down.
•CheckthattheACpowercordisconnected.
• Theunitisnotturnedon.
• There is no disc inside (“No Disc” appears on the
screen) or clean the disc.
• Insertthedisccorrectlywiththeplaybacksidefacing
frontwards.
• Anon-validdischasbeeninserted.Theunitanddisc
region number are incompatible.
• Condensationmayhaveformedinsidetheunitdue
toasuddenchangeintemperature.Waitaboutan
hour for it to clear and try again.

• Makesureallcablesarermlyconnected.

•Undertheinuenceofelectrostaticphenomenon,the
productmaymalfunctionandrequireusertopower
reset.
•Unplugandre-plugtheACpowercord.
• ChecktheconnectionbetweenthisunitandtheHDMI
outjackofotherequipment.
• TrysettingtheotherHDMIequipmenttoadifferent
videooutput resolution such as 480p, 576p, 720p,
1080ior1080pandtoaudiooutputtype‘PCM’.To
do this you may need to watch the picture from the
sourceequipmentwiththescartorAVinputofthe
TV,oronanotherTV.
•ReplacetheHDMIcablewithabetterone.BadHDMI
cable or very long cable (>2m) can cause data lost.
